Edward Bleier was a pioneer in media, serving as president of Warner Bros. domestic pay-TV, cable and network features division from 1969 - 2005. His decorated and distinguished career saw him work in almost every aspect of radio and television.

Over his 35 years at Warner Bros., Ed pioneered digital media markets. Ed contirbuted to Viacom's acquisition of MTV and Nickelodeon and paved the way for the Time Warner merger in 1990. In the '60s, Ed was a senior executive of ABC-TV in charge of Daytime and Children's Programming and Sales, General Sales Mgmt., and Marketing, Public Relations and Strategic Planning. Ed widely-expanded programming for sports and reality. His other ABC milestones include: the first integration of African American characters in daytime dramas, creating profits for women's & children's programming, ABC Sports' greatest growth, and ABC News' first documentary initiatives. Ed built ABC's first Saturday children's block around Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes shorts.
Later, doubling as president of Warner Bros. Animation, Ed initiated hundreds of Looney Tunes variations on 10 different cable and broadcast networks. Ed revived the classic art form for a new generation, including Steven Spielberg's successful Warner Bros. series, Tiny Toons.
