As founder of Shortlist Management, Charlie McBrearty has represented a diverse and impressive roster of top production companies and talent which includes many Emmy, Oscar, and Sundance winners. McBrearty is widely considered a leading industry resource for creative innovation and valuable strategic insights.

Previous to his long career as a talent rep, McBrearty worked in production at BBDO, giving him a global perspective of all the important details of filmmaking, and a deep appreciation for the wide range of talent who creates it. McBrearty actively pursues new talent, encourages diversity, and participates in many creative events and festivals including Cannes, SXSW, TED, and Sundance.

McBrearty has served on the PGEC for four years and is excited to bring his brand of enthusiasm and dedication to the role of Governor. He is also a dedicated member of the AICP (Association of Independent Commercial Producers) and is the first talent rep to be invited to the Curatorial Committee which chooses the best work for the AICP Show and archived into the MoMA.

Beyond advertising, McBrearty supports artistic projects such as Desert X, civic programs such as Equality California, and he is a contributing member of the Elton John Aids Foundation. McBrearty travels extensively for both business and leisure, and he always does so with a sense of adventure. For fun, McBrearty pushes weights at the gym, spins, hikes or binge watches TV with his partner Kevin and their two dogs Tucker & Ozzy.
