Bruce Golin

Bruce Golin was a producer best known for his Emmy-nominated work on the long-running CBS drama series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He worked on the show intermittently from 2001 to 2004 and also contributed to CSI spin-offs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY. He earned his Emmy nom in 2004, sharing the honor with Jerry Bruckheimer and Carol Mendelsohn, among others.

Golin spent nearly four decades in the entertainment business, and was the youngest associate producer ever on contract at Universal Studios.

He also worked on the television series Knight Rider, Pee-wee’s Playhouse, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, The New Adam-12, Silk Stalkings, Arli$$, Sliders, and Night Stalker. As well as the television movies and specials Ghost of a Chance with Redd Foxx and Dick Van Dyke; Curiosity Kills; Always Remember I Love You, with Patty Duke and Stephen Dorff; and The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour: The 20th Reunion.

Most recently, Golin headed virtual reality production for CBS Digital, where he produced visual effects for The Last Man on Earth, Transparent, Hindsight and Daredevil.

Golin died February 27, 2016, in Agoura, California. He was 57.
