Actress Merritt Wever won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Nurse Jackie in 2013. Wever was thankful, yet shocked and was at a loss for words.

Actress Debra Messing won her first Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Will & Grace in 2003. In her time on the show, she received a total of 5 Emmy nominations!

James Burrows is inducted into the 17th Television Academy Hall of Fame.

Brandon Tartikoff is inducted into the 16th Television Academy Hall of Fame.
