NoHo Arts District, CA, June 27, 2013 — Kate Mara (House of Cards) and two-time Emmy® Award winner Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) will join Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Chairman-CEO, Bruce Rosenblum, at 5:40 AM PDT on July 18th to announce the 65th Primetime Emmy® Awards Nominations.
Returning as producer of this year's nominations telecast is Spike Jones, Jr., The Emmy Nominations Announcement will take place at the Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.
Kate Mara currently stars as Zoe Barnes on Netflix's House of Cards. Kate Mara was born and raised in Bedford, New York and began acting at the age of nine in local theater projects. At fifteen Kate made her feature film debut in Random Hearts for director Sydney Pollack. Kate's impressive list of film credits include Brokeback Mountain for director Ang Lee in which she portrayed Heath Ledger's daughter, Transsiberian with Sir Ben Kingsley and Woody Harrelson, We Are Marshall with Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox, Shooter with Mark Wahlberg, Iron Man 2 with Robert Downey Jr. Kate also starred in HappyThankYouMorePlease with Josh Radnor and Malin Akerman. The film, which Josh Radnor directed, received the Audience Award at both the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and 2010 Gen Art Film Festival. More recently she appeared in the Academy Award-nominated film 127 Hours with James Franco and Amber Tamblyn for director Danny Boyle. Last fall, Kate starred in Ten Years with Channing Tatum. She will begin filming Transcendence alongside Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, Rebecca Hall and Morgan Freeman for the directorial debut of Academy Award-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister. Last year Kate portrayed a mentally unstable ghost alongside Jessica Lange in Ryan Murphy's critically acclaimed series American Horror Story for F/X. Kate has appeared on numerous television shows, including arcs on 24.
Aaron Paul currently stars as Jesse Pinkman on the critically acclaimed AMC series Breaking Bad. For his performance, Paul received a 2009 Emmy Award® nomination and 2012 and 2010 Emmy Award® wins for "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series." In addition to his Emmy nominations for this role, Paul received the 2010 Saturn Award nomination for "Best Supporting Actor on Television." Paul is currently filming Disney's Need For Speed, based on the popular video game. The film is set to release March 14, 2014. Additionally, he will star in the film A Long Way Down which is based on the British novel and is set to release in 2014. Paul also starred as 'Scott Quittman' in the popular and Emmy nominated HBO series "Big Love." Paul was seen on the big screen as the character of 'Francis' in the film re-make of the horror classic, The Last House On The Left, produced by Wes Craven and starring Tony Goldwyn, Monica Potter, and Garret Dillahunt. Paul was also seen in theaters in Fall 2012 in Sony Picture Classic's Smashed, where he plays Charlie Hannah, opposite Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Paul currently resides in Los Angeles.

The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards will air live coast to coast Sunday, September 22, 2013 on CBS and will originate from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. The awards will be executive produced by Ken Ehrlich and hosted by Neil Patrick Harris who will also serve as a producer. Nominating ballots were posted on the Television Academy's website on June 10th and ballots are to be returned to Ernst & Young by June 28th.
