James Lunsford, Camera Operator on Several TV Shows

James Lunsford, a camera operator who worked on several television series, many of them successful comedies, died July 13, 1013. He was 64. Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Lunsford studied at University of Tennessee before moving to Los ANgeles, where he became a prolific camera operator. His many television credits included All in the Family, Married... With Children, Golden Girls, Blossom, Soul Train, Empty Nest, Hee Haw, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son and Beakman’s World, as well as commercials, documentaries and such music videos as Devo’s "Whip It" and Michael Jackson’s "Beat It" and "Thriller."
