Alfred Brenner, Longtime Television Writer

Brenner wrote for dozens of shows in his career.

Albert Brenner, a television writer who contributed to dozens of top series, died July 17, 2011, in Los Angeles. He was 95.

Brenner began writing for TV in New York and eventually followed the business to Los Angeles.

Over the years, he wrote for such shows as The United States Steel Hour, Studio One in Hollywood, Kraft Theatre, Alcoa Theatre, The David Niven Show, Dick Powell Theatre, Ben Casey, Felony Squad, The Bold Ones, Then Came Bronson, McMillan & Wife, Ironside and Harry O.
