Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowships

The Television Academy Foundation is proud to offer a limited number of Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowships to attendees of the 2021 Faculty Seminar: The Conference. Named in honor of the late Alex Trebek, longtime host of the quiz show Jeopardy!, the Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowships will cover the cost of registration fees for up to 25 media educators from federally-designated minority-serving institutions for this year’s virtual conference.

The Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowships have been made possible thanks to a generous gift from The Harry & Judy Friedman Family Foundation. When the conference returns to an in-person format in 2022, the fellowships will be expanded to cover travel and lodging expenses as well as conference registration fees for deserving applicants.

Note: All applicants for the 2021 Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowships are welcome to reapply for a fellowship at our in-person conference in 2022. Selection for a fellowship at our virtual conference will not preclude selection for a fellowship in 2022.
