About The Event

Governors Tony Carey & Tammy Glover, along with members of the Production Executives Peer Group Executive Committee, cordially invites Television Academy peer group members to a professional development event.

What's the Deal with Ratings?

Television programs become big hits or face cancellation based on ratings, but how does it really work?

Join us for a panel of television ratings, research, programming and digital media executives discussing the behind-the-scenes number crunching. What do those numbers reflect, and how are they used by programming executives? How do they affect us who work in the television industry and the shows we love to watch? The evening will include discussions on how ratings and viewer habits are rapidly changing in the world of streaming media and on demand viewing.
