Tech Tools & Tips: Dolby Atmos 101

Streaming services have begun offering new features, including Dolby Atmos. This capability has moved Atmos from the theater to the home, and to travel. It introduces a variety of configurations for listening, from full surround speakers, to TV sound bars, to sophisticated headphones, to earbuds. In this session, methods for mixing in Atmos for television/tablet/phone consumption will be explained and experts will discuss best practices to create the most impact in your Atmos mix.

Please note that these presentations aim to discuss how technologies can help the storytelling process and are provided for both technical and production members. Depending on member interest and feedback, additional sessions may be developed for more in-depth learning in the near future.
