Zbigniew Brzezinski was a foreign policy expert best known for his work as the National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter.

Brzezinski, a native of Poland, helped Carter bridge gaps between Egyptian and Israeli leaders, leading to the 1978 Camp David accords. He also helped to normalize U.S.-China relations and contributed to the SALT II nuclear weapons treaty with the Soviet Union and the Panama Canal treaties ceding U.S. control of the waterway.

Brezinski appeared frequently on television, including spots on Firing Line, The Daily Show, Real Time with Bill Maher, The Colbert Report, Tavis Smiley, This Week, Today and multiple visits to Charlie Rose.
