Walter Olkewicz
Walter Olkewicz was an American character actor.
He is best known for playing Hinshaw in Steven Spielberg’s film 1941 (1979), as well as his roles in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) and The Client (1994).
Olkewicz attended St. Mary of the Plains College in Kansas and Colorado State University before landing a role in the film Futureworld (1976).
He went on to have recurring roles in the television series The Last Resort, Wizards and Warriors, Partners in Crime, Dolly, both iterations of Twin Peaks, Who’s the Boss?, Night Court, and Grace Under Fire.

He also appeared on the big screen in Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces (2014), The Big Picture (1989), Heartbreakers (1984), Making the Grade (1984), Jimmy the Kid (1982), and The Greatest (1977).
Olkewicz died April 6, 2021, in Reseda, California. He was 72.
