Royal Blakeman was an American entertainment attorney.

From 1966 to 1968, Blakeman was the seventh national President of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), after having previously served as President of the New York Chapter of NATAS from 1963 to 1965.

A renowned entertainment attorney with an early focus on theatrical law, Blakeman was an officer and director of Mark Goodson Productions, one of the entertainment industry's most prolific program creators.

For a quarter-century, he was general counsel to the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, which in 2003 bestowed him its Trustees' Award.
