Paul O’Neill was a musician, composer and producer best known for co-founding the prog-metal group Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The group was known for their holiday music and spectacular, pyrotechnic-filled concerts.
Their music was featured in the films How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Men in Black 3 and Metalhead, among others.
O’Neill also served as the composer, writer, and producer of the television special The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, a fantastical trip which followed a little girl’s journey away from home and back again. The special was narrated by Ossie Davis, and featured music by Jewel and Michael Crawford, in addition to Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
