Norm Crosby was an American comedian and actor.

Crosby began his stand-up comedy career in the 1950s, soon after making malaprops — the intentionally mistaken use of a similar sounding word — his trademark.

He appeared on dozens of talk and variety shows, including The Hollywood Palace, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, Playboy After Dark, The Ed Sullivan Show, The David Frost Show, The Dean Martin Show, The Hollywood Squares, The Merv Griffin Show, Dinah!, and The Mike Douglas Show. Crosby made a total of 57 appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.

From 1978 to 1981, Crosby hosted the syndicated series The Comedy Shop, which featured both new and established stand-up comics plying their trade.

His acting resume include episodes of Adam-12, The Love Boat, L.A. Law, Roseanne, The Larry Sanders Show, Diagnosis Murder, and Arli$$. Crosby's final acting credit was as a Kmart employee in Grown Ups 2 (with Adam Sandler).

Crosby died November 7, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. He was 93.
