Michael Keenan

Michael Keenan was an American actor.

Best known for portraying Mayor Bill Pugen on the television series Picket Fences, Keenan also had recurring roles in Dallas and Complete Works.

Throughout his career, he made guest star appearances in shows such as Green Acres, Starsky & Hutch, WKRP in Cincinnati, The Dukes of Hazzard, St. Elsewhere, Cheers, Nash Bridges, and three Star Trek series: The Next Generation, Voyager, and Deep Space Nine.

Keenan also lent his voice to cartoons such as Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Johnny Bravo, and Rugrats.

In 1987, he directed his first play at the USC School of Dramatic Arts and would continue to teach acting and directing at the school for more than 25 years.

Keenan died April 30, 2020, in Woodland Hills, California. He was 80.
