Michael Dimich

Michael Dimich was an American television director.

Dimich was nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards, winning two. In 2005, he won in the category of Outstanding Direction in a Talk Show for Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and in 2013, he was awarded in the Outstanding Game Show category for The Price is Right.

During his four decade-long career, Dimich worked with a wide variety of performers, including “Weird Al” Yankovic, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Michel Legrand, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Bill Maher, Adam Carolla, Wayne Brady, and magician David Copperfield, for whom Dimich directed six television specials.

Dimich worked extensively in children’s television, directing several episodes of Kids Incorporated, as well as numerous television shows for Disney.

Dimich also helmed quite a few episodes of reality television, including shows such as After the Runway, The Fashion Show (with Isaac Mizrahi), Survivor, and The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Dimich died February 17, 2019, in Woodland Hills, California. He was 62.
