Matteo De Cosmo

Matteo De Cosmo was an Italian-American art director.

De Cosmo was best-known for serving as the art director for several ABC television shows, including Emergence, Luke Cage, and The Punisher.

He began his career as a set designer, assistant art director and costume designer, working mostly on films.

Though he continued to work on films such as the Oscar-winning Precious, And So It Goes (with Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton), and 21 Bridges (with Chadwick Boseman), De Cosmo focused more on television later in his career. He served as art director for Strangers with Candy, Upright Citizen's Brigade, Chappelle's Show, Are We There Yet?, Alpha House, Madam Secretary, The Affair, and Wu Tang: An American Saga.

De Cosmo died April 21, 2020 in New York City, New York. He was 52.
