Lynn Cohen

Lynn Cohen was an American actress.

Honing her craft at Michael Howard Studios in New York City, Cohen began her acting career in the 1970s appearing in a number of off-Broadway and Broadway productions.

She is perhaps best known for the role of Madga in the HBO series Sex and the City, and for the featured role of the tribute Mags Flanagan in the film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013).

Widely recognizable for diverse portrayals in film and television, Cohen had recurring roles in Law & Order, Nurse Jackie, Damages, and The Affair while appearing in the films Deconstructing Harry (1997), Munich (2005), Invisible (2006), Across the Universe (2007), and Eagle Eye (2008).

Cohen died February 14, 2020, in New York City, New York.  She was 86.
