Leanza Cornett was an American television personality and former Miss America winner.

Cornett won the Miss America pageant in 1993 after winning the Florida title the year before. She became the first Miss America winner to focus on AIDS awareness for her platform.

Before that, she was a member of the contemporary Christian music group Area Code and played Ariel in Voyage of the Little Mermaid at the show's debut at Disney's Hollywood Studios (then Disney-MGM Studios) at Walt Disney World Resort.

Cornett's career in television includes hosting television shows such as Entertainment Tonight and Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire?, as well as appearances in episodes of Saved by the Bell: The New Class, The Tick, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Weeds. She also served as a reporter for Animal Planet's coverage of the Eukanuba AKC National Dog Show programs.

Cornett died October 28, 2020, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was 49.
