Laura Guzik

After a successful career in the fashion industry, Laura Guzik became a Television Costumer in 1996. She joined the Television Academy a few years later and has been active in the Costume Designers and Supervisors Peer Group for most of the 25 years since.

After a successful career in the fashion industry, Laura Guzik became a Television Costumer in 1996. She joined the Television Academy a few years later and has been active in the Costume Designers and Supervisors Peer Group for most of the 25 years since.

Guzik has supervised many television pilots and series including Lois and Clark, The Nanny, Heroes, Without a Trace, Last Man Standing, Pretty Little Liars, Famous in Love, and the final two seasons of Criminal Minds. With a keen eye for the creative and a strong mind for business, working as a Costume Supervisor has been a rewarding challenge. Prior to working in television, she worked as a freelance commercial wardrobe stylist, and has also supervised a handful of features. She is experienced in most mediums.

Guzik holds a BA in French Literature & Art History from UCLA, graduating with honors. Her first job out of college was working in the DTLA buying office of Bullock's Department Store after completing their Executive Training Program. She worked for several years as a fashion merchandiser for a clothing line as well as producing catalog shoots for a major branded athletic apparel company.

Laura is honored to represent the hardworking costume supervisors and designers in her peer group.
