Karen Adams was a television executive who spent 36 years of her 40-year television career at WGHP in North Carolina.
Adams worked her way up the ranks at WGHP, beginning as a camera operator, then moving to master control operator, director, producer, vice president of programming and community affairs, then finally to vice president-general manager of the station in 1997.
Later in her career she served as vice president of corporate initiatives at Fox Television Stations.
Adams died November 4, 2016, in High Point, North Carolina. She was 62.
