John Lasalandra was an American music editor.

Lasalandra graduated from Philadelphia's Curtis Institute of Music in 1963. He played bassoon for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra before moving to Los Angeles. He was also a pianist and composer.

Lasalandra worked on several television programs, including The Young Lawyers, Longstreet, Brothers and Sisters, The Fifth Corner, Chicago Story, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the Emmy-winning miniseries Shogun.

Jackson), The Mask (with Jim Carrey), Billy Madison (with Adam Sandler), While You Were Sleeping (with Sandra Bullock), The Truth About Cats and Dogs (with Uma Thurman), Shanghai Noon (with Jackie Chan), and the 2000 remake of the animated holiday classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Lasalandra won an Emmy for Outstanding Film Sound Editing for a Limited Series or a Special for his work on 1985's Wallenberg: A Hero's Story (with Richard Chamberlain).

Lasalandra died April 21, 2022, in West Hollywood, California. He was 82.
