Jim Carnegie
Jim Carnegie was a former radio program director turned publisher, best known for founding the Radio Business Report and Television Business Report trade magazines.
Carnegie ran the magazines for 30 years before selling the publications in 2013.
Prior to his work in publishing Carnegie worked in the radio industry, at ABC’s KQV-AM Pittsburgh as a weekend DJ. Two years later he was programming the station, and was the final program director under ABC’s ownership.
Carnegie died July 25, 2016, in Florida. He was 66.
