James Olson was an American actor.

Olson debuted on television as the title character in Kraft Theatre: The Life of Mickey Mantle.

He had numerous TV movie roles in Paper Man, Incident on a Dark Street, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Sex Symbol, The Missiles of October, The Family Nobody Wanted, Someone I Touched, and The Spell.

Olson also had many guest and recurring roles throughout the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s on such TV series as Bonanza, Marcus Welby, M.D., Medical Center, Police Story, Police Woman, The F.B.I., Gunsmoke, Mannix, Harry O, Hawaii Five-O, Maude, Barnaby Jones, The Bionic Woman, and Battlestar Galactica.

Olson died April 17, 2022, in Malibu, California. He was 91.
