Freda Rosen

Freda Rosen was an actress best known for her role on a memorable 1956 episode of The Honeymooners, titled “Alice and the Blonde.”

Rosen played blonde bombshell Rita Wedemeyer, who is fawned over by Jackie Gleason and Art Carney at a couples' dinner with their wives. The role is her only listed screen credit.

After broke into show business as a model and stage actress, but left performing to raise a family.

She earned a bachelor’s degree at the age of 65, followed by a master’s degree, after which she worked as a counselor for a decade.

Rosen died on September 18, 2016, in Beverly Hills, California. She was 87.
