Edgar F. Gross was an entertainment lawyer and producer best known for representing clients including Richard Gere, Angelica Huston, Gene Hackman, William L. Petersen and Linda Evans.

Gross also served as a producer on the films Excalibur, The Emerald Forest, Hope and Glory — for which he won a Golden Globe Award — and Where the Heart Is, all of which were directed by John Boorman, another Gross client.

After becoming a partner at Winthrop, Erlich and Gross, where his clients included Alfred Hitchcock and Gary Cooper, Gross left to form a law firm with Bob Eisenstein, which became International Business Management, one of the preeminent business management firms in the industry.

Gross died October 16, 2016, in Los Angeles. He was 85.
