Dan Kneece

Dan Kneece was an American camera operator.

Among his credits are Blue Velvet, Jackie Brown, The Patriot, Dying Young, Phone Booth, and The Number 23.

Kneece graduated from the University of South Carolina and became a cameraman for a TV station in the area. He came to Los Angeles in the early 1980s, got his certificate in cinema from USC and went to work at Cinema Products, learning to operate the Steadicam from its inventor, Garrett Brown.

Kneece also worked on TV series including The Wonder Years, Melrose Place, Felicity, Nurse Betty, Entourage, and Nip/Tuck.
