Charmian Carr

Charmian Carr was an actress and singer best known for her role as Liesl von Trapp in the classic 1965 film The Sound of Music.

The following year, Carr starred in the television movie Evening Primrose, a fantasy-musical starring Anthony Perkins as a man who becomes a part of a secret society whose members live in a department store.

Carr also made appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show, Good Morning America and The Oprah Winfrey Show, in a 2010 reunion episode featuring the cast of The Sound of Music.

Carr died September 17, 2016, in Woodland Hills, California. She was 73.
