Beverly Bentley

Beverly Bentley was an American actress.

Raised in Florida, Bentley studied acting at Sarasota High School. While working as a waitress in Pensacola, she met Arthur Godfrey, who encouraged her to move to New York and pursue a career in show business. She did so, and was immediately hired by Godfrey to appear on his variety show.

Bentley worked as a hostess on several TV game shows, such as Beat the Clock, The Big Payoff, and The Price Is Right. She appeared in several Broadway and off-Broadway shows, and acted on television and in films.
