Bert Belasco

Bert Belasco was an American actor.

Belasco earned a theater degree from Southern Illinois University, after which he had a stint with Chicago’s Second City improvisational troupe.

In 2011, Belasco landed the role of Charles Whitmore on BET’s sitcom Let’s Stay Together, which ran for four seasons.

Belasco also appeared on episodes of House, Justified, Key & Peele, The Soul Man, NCIS: New Orleans, The Mick, and Superstore. He recurred on I’m Dying Up Here, Showtime’s series about stand-up comedy.

Belasco died November 8, 2020, in Richmond, Virginia. He was 38.
