Ben Cooper was an American actor.

Making his Broadway debut at age nine in Life With Father, Cooper went on to act in over 3,000 radio shows before landing his first big screen role in Side Street (1950).

Making his Broadway debut at age nine in Life With Father, Cooper went on to act in over 3,000 radio shows before landing his first big screen role in Side Street (1950).

Perhaps best known for his work in Western films, specifically, Johnny Guitar (1954), he also appeared in The Rose Tattoo (1955), Outlaw's Son (1957), Gunfight at Comanche Creek (1963), Arizona Raiders (1965), Red Tomahawk (1967), Support Your Local Gunfighter (1971), One More Train to Rob (1971), The Sky's the Limit (1975), and Lighting Jack (1994).

He also guest starred in a variety of television shows such as: Rawhide, Laramie, The Virginian, Bonanza, The Rifleman, Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, Time Tunnel, Combat, Mannix, Room 222, Dallas, The Fall Guy, and Kung Fu: The Legend Continues.

Cooper died February 24, 2020, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was 86.
