Barbara Claman was an American casting director.

Claman worked on three movies by filmmaker Albert Brooks: Modern Romance (1981), Lost in America (1985), and Defending Your Life (1991).

Her television credits include Dynasty, Santa Barbara, Tour of Duty, Zorro, Renegade, Silk Stalkings, and Sliders.

She retired in 2004 and then volunteered at the Braille Institute of Los Angeles, where she taught acting.

Claman died January 17, 2019, in Winsted, Connecticut. She was 89.
