Andrew Sachs was a British actor best known for his role on Fawlty Towers, the acclaimed U.K. comedy starring John Cleese. The performer portrayed Manuel, a Spanish waiter, on the sitcom set in a hotel. He received a BAFTA nomination for his role.

He also appeared on the British series Coronation Street, Casualty, Doctor Who, The History of Mr. Polly and EastEnders.

Sachs died November 23, 2016, in Northwood, London, England. He was 86.
