Andrew J. Fenady

Andrew J. Fenady was an American film and television writer and producer.

Best known for developing and writing the television shows The Rebel, Branded, and Hondo, Fenady also wrote several plays and novels throughout his decades long career.

Best known for developing and writing the television shows The Rebel, Branded, and Hondo, Fenady also wrote several plays and novels throughout his decades long career.

After arriving in Los Angeles in the 1950s, Fenady would make an impact writing for the television series Confidential File before producing films such as Broken Sabre (1965) and Ride Beyond Vengeance (1966), both starring Chuck Conners, Chisum (1970) with John Wayne, and Terror in the Wax Museum (1973) with Ray Milland.

Fenady died April 16, 2020, in Los Angeles, California.  He was 91.
