Amy Johnston was an American actress.

She is most widely recognized for portraying Cindy Lou in the film The Buddy Holly Story (1978) and for her recurring role as Mary Lee in the television mini-series Brothers and Sisters.

Johnston made her on-screen acting debut as John Travolta’s love-interest, Cassy, in the series Welcome Back, Kotter, and went on to guest star in episodes of Charlie’s Angels, Cagney & Lacey, and Highway to Heaven.
