Michael Ruscio, ACE
Michael Ruscio, ACE, has enjoyed editing some of the top dramatic shows of the past fifteen years, including House of Cards, The Leftovers, Homeland, Dexter, In Treatment, The Sopranos and Six Feet Under. Recently, he was editor on Amazon’s Carnival Row and Hulu’s Catch-22, executive produced by George Clooney.
Additionally, he has directed four episodes of the HBO series True Blood and his short film "In Order of Appearance" received ensemble and individual acting awards during its festival run.
Ruscio was nominated for an ACE Eddie Award for the finale of Six Feet Under and won the 2009 Eddie for editing the pilot of True Blood. As an Academy governor, he serves as a Governors’ Appointee to the Executive Committee, Vice-Chair of the Activities Committee and a member of the Honors Committee.
