Steve Chacon, Longtime Videographer for L.A. Station ABC7
Chacon contributed to ABC7's Eyewitness News team for more than 30 years.
Steve Chacon, a videographer for Los Angeles station KABC-TV for more than three decades, died July 31, 2013, in Los Angeles.
According to reports, the cause was complications from a stroke.
Chacon started at KABC-TV in 1977 and covered some of the biggest stories in the Southland over the course of 35 years.
In a tribute to Chacon on the ABC7 news, anchor Marc Brown said, "Steve was the heart and soul of this newsroom."
