Kevin Gray, Broadway Performer Who Also Worked in TV

Gray's Broadway credits included Miss Saigon, Music of the Night and The Phantom of the Opera. His TV work included episodes of shows such as Miami Vice and Law & Order: SVU.

Kevin Gray, an actor known for numerous Broadway productions, including Miss Saigon, Music of the Night and The Phantom of the Opera, and also worked in television, died February 11, 2013, in Hartford, Connecticut. He was 54.

According to news reports, the cause was a heart attack.

Gray, the youngest actor to play the title role in Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera, was an associate producer of theater at Hartford University at the time of his passing.

In addition to his large body of stage work, Gray had guest parts in several TV series, including episodes of Miami Vice, The Equalizer, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
