Barbara Trentham, Actress and TV Reporter

In addition to roles in movies and television series, Trentham hosted the series Those Amazing Animals.

Barbara Trentham, an actress who appeared in several feature films and was a reporter on the television program Those Amazing Animals, died August 2, 2013, in Chicago. She was 68. According to news reports, the cause was leukemia. Trentham was a model before she became an actress. Her movie credits included The Possession of Joel Delaney, Rollerball and Sky RIders. She also appeared in the TV series Star Maidens and the made-for-television movies Death Moon and A Man Called Sloane. Those Amazing Animals, which centered on rare, interesting and unusual animals, aired in 1980-81. From 1981 to 1990 Trentham was married to actor-comedian John Cleese.
