John Frankenheimer
An award winning director, Frankenheimer got his start in the Golden Age of television by directing over 150 live episodes for such shows as "You Are There," "Danger," "Climax," and "Playhouse 90." His career also included such memorable films as "The Manchurian Candidate," "Seven Days in May," and "Ronin." Frankenheimer received four Emmys, two Golden Globes, three Cable Aces and the Peabody Awards for his directorial work on the telefilms "Against the Wall," "The Burning Season," "Andersonville," and "George Wallace." He died in 2002 at the age of 72.
