Television Academy members and guests spent a great evening with powerful creative forces from the Late Night With Conan O'Brien show at the Directors Guild Theater in New York City.
O'Brien himself, along with Executive Producer Jeff Ross and Head Writer Mike Sweeney, treated guests to a rousing discussion moderated by New York Times television writer Bill Carter. Carter also authored the book The Late Shift: Letterman, Leno and the Network Battle for the Night.
Produced by Steve Schwartz and Barbara Wellner, "An Evening with Late Night with Conan O'Brien" also featured receptions before and after the panel discussion, giving attendees an opportunity to mix with Television Academy brass, Late Night team members such as graphic artist Pierre Bernard (widely known for Late Night's "Recliner of Rage" bit) and other influential guests such as Jeff Zucker, President, NBC Entertainment, News & Cable Group.
