Actor Terry O'Sullivan Dies at 91
Search For Tomorrow's "Arthur Tate"
St. Paul, MN - Terry O'Sullivan, known for 12 years to Search for Tomorrow fans as "Arthur Tate," died Sept. 4 of pancreatic cancer at Our Lady of Good Counsel Home hospice in St. Paul, MN. He was 91.
The former radio announcer-turned-actor joined daytime serial Search for Tomorrow in the lead role of Arthur Tate in 1955.
He received a medal from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for distinguished service. TV Radio Mirror magazine also honored him with several awards for favorite daytime drama actor during the 1950s.
