Actor Brad Renfro Found Dead

Troubled 25-year-old's under investigation

Los Angeles, CA – Actor Brad Renfro was found dead in his apartment in the Wilshire area of Los Angeles Tuesday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The 25-year-old Tennessee native is best known for film roles in The Client and Ghost World and appeared on Law and Order: Criminal Intent in 2006.

Reportedly drinking prior to his death, according to friends of Renfro, the actor had a history of drug and other legal run-ins. The Los Angeles County Coroner's office is investigating the cause of death and will perform an autopsy this Friday.

LAPD officials said that there is no suspicion of foul play.

Renfro's girlfriend found his body in the actor's home and paramedics pronounced him dead at 9 a.m., authorities said.
