Born Elizabeth Stamatina Fey, she’s known for her work as head writer of Saturday Night Live, co-anchor with Jimmy Fallon of “Weekend Update,” her SNL portrayal of 2008 U.S. vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin – and a string of hit movies like Mean Girls with Lindsey Lohan, Baby Mama with fellow SNL alumna Amy Poehler and Date Night with Steve Carell.
