Judy Davis

Three-time Primetime Emmy® Award winning actress Judy Davis plays “Jill Tankard” on Paige Eight (Masterpiece). Davis was nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role in A Passage to India (1984) and Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Husbands and Wives (1992). She first came into prominence for her portrayal of the fiery “Sybylla Melvyn” in My Brilliant Career.

Davis had a recurring role as "Joan McAllister" in the television mini-series and subsequent television show The Starter Wife. She also played "Audrey Taylor" in Barton Fink, and "Nancy Reagan" in the mini-series The Reagans. In 2001 she portrayed "Judy Garland" in Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows, for which she won an AFI Actor of the Year Award.
