Christine Baranski stars as “Diane Lockhart” on The Good Wife, a role that has garnered her two Primetime Emmy® Award nominations. She is also known for her Emmy® Award winning portrayal of “Maryanne Thorpe” in the television series Cybill, on which she starred alongside Cybill Shepherd and Alicia Witt. In her early career, Baranski won two Tony Awards for her Broadway rendition of Tom Stoppard’s The Real Thing and as maid “Berthe” in Boeing Boeing. Baranski also appeared in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Cruel Intentions, All My Children, The Pick-up Artist, and The Bounty Hunter. She played both “Rose Siegal” and “Katherine Masucci Beigel” on Law & Order, starred as “Marsha Bickner” on the television series Welcome to New York, and was “Annie Brennan” on Happy Family. The actress is married to Matthew Cowles (Shutter Island).
