Wendell Burton was an actor best known for co-starring with Liza Minnelli in the 1969 film The Sterile Cuckoo, about two college students in love.

Burton also voiced the title character in the classic 1973 NBC/Hallmark Hall of Fame special You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which had been adapted from the stage. He had played the famously unlucky cartoon character in a San Francisco production.

Additionally, he appeared on television, including roles on the series Young Dr. Kildare, Medical Center, Room 222, The New Dick Van Dyke Show, The Rookies and Mathnet.
