Warren Frost

Warren Frost was an actor best known for his role as Doc Hayward on both the original run and the revival of Twin Peaks. Frost was also the father to Mark Frost, who co-created the surreal show with David Lynch.

The elder Frost also appeared on the series Perry Mason, Quantum Leap, Beauty and the Beast, L.A. Law, Get a Life, The Larry Sanders Show, Grace Under Fire, Matlock, The John Larroquette Show and had a recurring role on Seinfeld as Mr. Ross, the father of George Costanza's fiancee Susan Ross.

Additionally, Frost appeared in the films The Mating Game, starring Debbie Reynolds and Tony Randall; It Started with a Kiss, starring Reynolds and Glenn Ford; Slaughterhouse-Five; Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit; and Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces.

Frost got his start in entertainment in the drapery department at CBS, which led to him working as the floor director and stage manager for Philco Playhouse.

He died February 17, 2017, in Middlebury, Vermont. He was 91.
