Uma Thurman

The tall, striking and versatile actress Uma Thurman, daughter of renowned Buddhist scholar Robert Thurman, left her Massachusetts boarding school at 15 and moved to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a performer. Early success came with roles in films such as The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and Dangerous Liaisons. She went on to appear in Henry & June, Mad Dog and Glory, Batman & Robin, Pulp Fiction (scoring an Oscar nomination) Sweet and Lowdown, Kill Bill: Vols. 1 and 2, The Producers and many others.
